This is a bed bugs life cycle. The eggs are small and oval almost invisible unless you know what your looking for. The nymphs (baby bed bug) are translucent, because they have not had a blood meal.

After each blood meal bed bugs shed their skin and grow a little bigger. This is called molting and they molt 5 times before becoming an adult.

You'll notice the thick dark discoloration in the center of their body; this is blood from their last meal.

The two larger images are both adult bed bugs; one before a meal and the larger oval shaped is right after a blood meal.
